How does it work?

After you place an order, we will ship your parcel to a forwarder in the Netherlands within two business days. Our forwarder will then consolidate it with other parcels and palletize it. Once a week, a pallet is sent to the US by air freight. After it arrives in the USA, customs will clear your goods, and your parcel will be prepared for the final mile delivery. It may take up to 21 working days until your parcel arrives, although we aim to have it delivered faster than that. Please be aware that you will only receive your tracking information once the parcel is ready for transportation within the USA. FedEx takes care of the final leg of delivery.

We can ship a maximum of six bottles per shipment. The maximum insured value is $2500. If you want to insure your shipment, we will quote you for an additional 2% of the value of the parcel. This insurance covers loss and breakage. Loss due to an incorrect address is not covered.

Hold for later shipping

This option lets you combine multiple orders into one parcel to save on shipping costs. Your personal Whiskybase Shop account provides an overview of the bottles you purchased. Whenever you are ready to have your bottles shipped, send us an email at [email protected], and we will create an order for the shipping fee. This service is free, and you will only pay the actual shipping costs. However, this service is meant for you to combine your orders into one shipment, not to store your bottles for long periods of time.

Orders on-hold older than 14 days cannot be cancelled.
