The Kininvie Distillery in Speyside is owned by William Grant & Sons and opened in 1990. The Kininvie single malt whisky is mainly used for the owner's blended malt and blended whisky brands. A limited edition of its single malt bottlings appeared under the name Hazelwood; from 2013, these will appear under the name Kininvie. Under that name, the innovation arm, Kininvie Works, released several experimental bottlings in 2019.
