SHIPPING UPDATE 18-02-2021: Due to Brexit, shipments to the United Kingdom are currently not possible. We are working on a solution.

Worldwide shipping with DHL Parcel is currently not possible, we suggest DHL Express instead. 

Due to COVID-19 some delays may still occur, but most shipments will arrive within their usual time frame. 

We use reliable shipping companies for delivery of our parcels. Delivery charges are explained below. If your country is not listed below, feel free contact us at [email protected] for the possibilities.

Weight of your parcel

Standard bottles weigh around 1.3 kilograms. You should add the weight of the box and packaging to calculate the total weight of your parcel. This is around 300 grams per bottle. Most original bottlings and bottles like Signatory Vintage Cask Strength Collection weigh more than 1.3 kilograms. We determine the weight per bottle so that the delivery charges adapt to your order. For countries within the European Union countries the shipping rates are fixed up to 21 kilograms.

Shipping rates European Union

The shipping rates for shipments within the European Union are fixed for parcels up to 21 kilograms. In the table below you will find the shipping rates including VAT.

Shipping rates Switzerland and Norway

Outside of the European Union shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of your whisky's plus packaging. Standard bottles weigh around 1.3 kilograms. You should add the weight of the box and packaging to calculate to total weight of your parcel. This is around 300 grams per bottle. Most original bottlings and bottles like Signatory Vintage Cask Strength Collection weigh more than 1.3 kilograms. We determine the weight per bottle so that the delivery charges adapt to your order.

Shipping rates rest of the world

We ship to the following countries outside of the European Union: Australia, Hong Kong, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates and the United States. 

Currently we only offer DHL Express for shipments to countries outside of the European Union. We always have to attach the original invoices to the parcel. Your order will probably be subject to local sales taxes and duties. Whiskybase has no control over these charges, so you should contact your local customs office for further information.

This option enables you to combine multiple orders into one parcel to save on shipping costs. You can find an overview of your purchased bottles in your personal Whiskybase Shop account.
