In 2013, the first single malt whisky from the Swedish Smögen distillery was released. The distillery, located on the Swedish southwest coast, specializes in single cask bottlings and bottlings in slightly larger editions. Each Smögen bottling is therefore different, but the whisky is always made from peated barley malt. The whisky is matured in different cask types. That also makes every bottling different.
