Sheep Dip is a brand name for blended single malt whiskies. The name comes from the time that Scottish farmers, for tax reasons, would have written 'sheep dip' on casks with home-distilled whisky as if those casks contained a disinfectant for sheep.The blended malt whiskies from Sheep Dip can contain up to 18 different single malts. Incidentally, the producer of Sheep Dip probably no longer exists.
