Three Ships is the brand of the single malt whisky that comes from the James Sedgwick Distillery in Wellington, South Africa. The distillery is active since 1886, but their whisky wasn't available worldwide until 2015. Due to the warm climate in South Africa, the whisky matures faster than, for example, Scotch whisky. In addition to single malt, the distillery also makes single grain whisky (Bain's brand) and blended whiskies.
