3006 Whisky is a small, independent bottler from the Netherlands. The company has its own stock in Scotland. Founder Jop Boer, whose passion for whisky goes deep, has created the unique, timeless bottle design. Jop started 3006 Whisky in 2017 and released his first bottle in spring 2017.
With 3006 Whisky Jop plans to release between 5 and 10 casks per year. That is not all, currently there are plans for whisky barrel aged beer as well. Jop is on a mission with his whisky plans and we will be watching him closely.
We do not know from which distillery the bourbon whiskey released in the American Whsikey series comes from. It is clear that after the sherry finishing by 3006 Whisky, the bourbon is no longer ordinary bourbon. You can taste that in this batch too! 53.9%
This is the 4th batch in the American Whiskey series from bottler 3006 Whisky. The series consists of heavily sherried bourbon whiskey. Like this bottling that is finished on PX octaves, small sherry casks: the smaller the cask, the greater the influence.
Once again finished on a small Palo Cortado octave cask so we can certainly consider this batch of American Whiskey a sherry bomb again. Bottled by Dutch bottler 3006 Whisky. A special bottling. Which whisky? We don't know, but it's bottled at 53.7%.
