Founded by Patrick Vanderlinden in 2012, Brachadair has released around twenty well-regarded bottlings, mostly single malts, most Scotch whiskies. You will rarely come across a bottling of the Auchroisk Distillery itself. For this Speyside single malt whisky we have to wait for bottlings like this one by Brachadair. The Auchroisk matured for 8 years on an Oloroso sherry cask and was bottled at 59.7%

In 2025, the Belgian Brachadair bottled this single malt whisky from the more than two-century-old Royal Brackla Distillery that became a purveyor to the Royal Court in 1835. The Highland malt matured for 15 years in a tawny port barrique. (46.1% ABV)

Just a fun fact: The Whitlaw Hills lie behind a famous distillery on the Orkney Islands. But now to the point. Brachadair bottled this single malt whisky in just 50 bottles at 52.0% strength, after it had matured for 21 years in a bourbon cask.
