North Star Spirits was founded in 2016 in Glasgow by Iain Croucher. He had worked for years at an independent bottler, as ambassador and cask manager, when he decided to start his own business. All bottlings from his company are single cask and at cask strength. From the color of the labels you can see from which Scottish whisky region the single malt comes (for example: a yellow label stands for The Lowlands).
To celebrate their 10th anniversary, bottler North Star Spirits is releasing, among others, this 19-year-old Glenxxxxxxx (read 'farclas' for xxxxxxx), matured in a refill sherry cask. The Speyside single malt whisky was bottled in February 2026 at 59.0%.
Inchfad is the name of a peated single malt whisky from the Loch Lomond Distillery. Bottler North Star released this Inchfad in their Cask Series, matured for 18 years in a carefully selected Oloroso cask. A full-bodied, peaty and elegant dram. (51.1%)
In any case, this Islay Connection blended malt from North Star Spirits contains single malts from Bowmore and Bruichladdich. The bottler indicates that other Islay malts have also been blended in, but which ones? The youngest malt is 10 years old. 50.4%
