Behind the Whisky-Doris brand is the German Doris Debbeler. In Falkensee, Germany, she has a whisky shop with mainly products from independent bottlers. But with her business, she also bottles whisky herself. The bottlings of Whisky-Doris stand out not only because they are often surprising and of high quality but also because of the labels, such as the pin-up labels of the Nose Art series. Till now, around two hundred bottlings have appeared.
A 28-year-old Loch Lomond single malt whisky is quite rare. Bottler Whisky-Doris released one at the end of 2018. A typical Loch Lomond, full and rich in taste through its age. Matured in a bourbon barrel and bottled at cask strength (48.7%).
Just over ten years ago, this Ben Nevis single malt whisky appeared in the Nose Art series by bottler Whisky-Doris. The classic Highlander aged for 13 years in a bourbon cask before being bottled at 52.6% cask strength. It evokes an 'old school' feeling.
About ten years ago, Whisky-Doris released this 26-year-old, sherry-aged Irish single malt whisky in the Nose Art series. It was a bullseye once again! The whisky scored high immediately and now stands at nearly 91 points. (45.6% ABV)
