'anCnoc' has been the brand under which Highland distillery Knockdhu (= Black Hill) has been bottling since 1983. This is to prevent confusion with the products of the Speyside distillery Knockando (= Little Black Hill).
Knockdhu was established in 1983. The company is situated close to the Speyside. 'anCnoc' means 'the Hill'.
This anCnoc is part of the core assortment of the Knockdhu distillery. Bottled at 40% and for a reasonable price, this Highlander offers an aroma profile of malt, honey and wild flowers, with notes of beeswax, nutmeg and herbs.
