In 2017, renowned blender and bottler Hunter Laing & Co. opened their own Ardnahoe Distillery in the north-east of the whisky island of Islay. On 9 November 2018, the first cask of spirit was filled, and in 2024, the first bottling, the Inaugural Release of their peated single malt whisky, took place.
