The name suggests otherwise, but Barton 1792 Distillery was founded in 1879, in Bardstown, Kentucky, in the heart of Bourbon country. The large distillery with its 29 warehouses, releases bourbon whiskey under various labels such as: 1792, Barton, Very Old Barton and Colonel Lee.
