The Braunstein brewery and micro-distillery was founded in 2005 by four enthusiasts in Køge, Denmark. Braunstein not only produces whisky, but also gin, vodka, schnapps, aquavit, liqueur and rum. And beer. The first whisky bottlings appeared in 2010, and more than a hundred have now been released.
