Eagle Rare has been a Buffalo Trace kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey brand since 1975. It is a bourbon made by the Buffalo Trace Distillery, aged for 10 or 17 years and bottled at 45% (90-proof), often as single barrel bottling. Before 1975, Eagle Rare was a Seagram brand and then came on the market as a 10-year bourbon at 50.5% (101-proof).
