At the end of the last century, Horstman Distillery went into production in Dutch Twente regio. Liqueur, genever, gin, but also grain whisky and single malt whisky come from the stills. The grains for the spirit come from tthe region and the barley malt for the single malt comes from the province of Zeeland. The malt is ground 'in house' with a special millstone. The spirit is distilled two or three times. The first bottling was released in 2015.
