Kingsbarns is the name under which the Kingsbarns Distillery, which opened its doors in November 2014, releases single malt whisky. The distillery, located in Kingsbarns, Lowlands, was set up by the well-known blenders and bottlers family Wemyss.
The distillery is housed in a large, historic farmhouse. The distillery works according to traditional methods and with raw materials from the area, with the aim of a fruity, floral Lowland malt.
The oldest single malt whisky to date from the young Kingsbarns Distillery of the Wemyss whisky family. Distilled from regional barley, the whisky matured for 10 years, 90% in bourbon and 10% in red wine casks, and is bottled at 46%. Complex for its age.
A bottle for whisky connoisseurs, this new make spirit bottling from the 2014 Kingsbarns Distillery. Certainly interesting for those who have already tasted Kingsbarns single malt whisky. In this spirit you will recognize the Kingsbarns profile. (63.5%)
