The name used by independent bottlers for an Islay distillery whose name they cannot disclose. But the pseudonym Laggan Mill gives a clear hint: the name Lagavulin means 'the shallow valley with the mill', where 'vulin' is the word for 'mill'. We will say no more.
Bottler Cooper’s Choice was allowed to bottle this 'secret' Islay single malt whisky on condition that they did not mention the name of the distillery. We are probably not far off with our suspicion that it is a Lagavulin. Who wants to check this?
