A brand of the New Zealand Whisky Company that bought the remaining casks of the New Zealand Willowbank Distillery, which closed in 1997. The Oamaruvian is a blend of 70% single malt and 30% grain whisky (which is distilled from unmalted barley) and matured for 6 years in bourbon and 12 years in New Zealand red wine casks made of French oak. Bottled at cask strength or 100 proof.
