Since 2017, there is a distillery on the small Scottish island of Raasay. They produce artisanal single malt whisky in relatively small batches. This 4-year-old Raasay single malt matured entirely in Marsala barriques and is bottled at 50.7% ABV.
Since 2017, the Raasay Distillery has been active on the island of the same name. After some 180 previous releases, this is The Draam, half distilled from peated and half from unpeated barley malt and matured in rye, chinquapin, and red wine casks. 46.4%
