Half an hour by boat from the Isle of Skye is the small island of Raasay with its beautiful nature. Since 2017, the island also has a distillery, the Raasay Distillery. They produce traditionally distilled single malt whisky in relatively small quantities. They also make gin, and there is a distillery hotel!
Since 2017, the Raasay Distillery has been active on the island of the same name. After some 180 previous releases, this is The Draam, half distilled from peated and half from unpeated barley malt and matured in rye, chinquapin, and red wine casks. 46.4%
