Stokerij Sculte, a family business, is located in a monastery in Ootmarsum, in the Dutch region of Twente. The distillery makes whisky from regional barley and matures it in casks made from 200-year-old Twente oak and manufactured by Austrian coopers. In addition to whisky, Sculte also makes jenever, gin and brandy.
