The Lakes Distillery opened in 2015 in the heart of England's Lake District. Each step in the whisky making process is supervised by whisky maker Dhavall Gandhi, from sourcing the barley through yeast cultivation to cask selection. The distillery, owned by the Currie family, sees this as a holistic process.
