Thy Whisky Distillery is a Danish farm distillery and family business, located on the Gyrup estate between Thy National Park and the North Sea coast. The whisky is distilled traditionally from organic grains. Also, the cask storage is on the Gyrup farm. The distillery was founded in 2010, and since 2019 the entire process of whisky making and maturation takes place 100% on the farm.

The barley malt from which this single malt whisky is distilled was, typical of Thy, dried over beech wood fire. This gives the whisky characteristic smoky notes that complement the influence of the PX and Oloroso casks in which it matured. (49.5%)
