Orkney 2006 Chapter 7

Orkney is not a whisky brand. If a bottler releases an edition with 'Orkney' in the name, it will be Highland Park single malt whisky from the distillery of the same name in the Orkneys. So this is a 16-year-old, bourbon cask-matured HP whisky. (54%)

Orkney 2014 Chapter 7

It will no longer be a secret that the name Orkney hides a Highland Park single malt whisky. This Chapter 7 bottling of the famous Island whisky is 8 years old. During that period it matured in a red wine cask. Bottled at a cask strength of 52.8%.

Panama Rum 2006 Berry Bros & Rudd - Cask 22

This single-cask Panama Rum from Berry Bros & Rudd is no joke, even though it's on display in a whisky shop here. Distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2022, this is a very pleasantly drinkable rum, full of ripe yellow fruit, molasses and acacia honey. (55.7%)

Paul John 46% Edited

A good all-rounder, this Paul John Edited single malt whisky. Smoky notes combine well with notes of fruit and herbs, but vanilla, cocoa and cereals play a role too. This bottling is not very complex and is therefore pleasantly drinkable.

Paul John 55.2% Classic

Penderyn Celt

The age of the Penderyn Celt single malt whisky from Wales is unknown, but it is young. We do know that it finished on Islay quarter casks (Laphroaig?). That gives a touch of smoke to the taste and finish of this otherwise light dram.
