In the new Caramel Malt series of the young Danish Thy Whisky Distillery, this bottling appeared in 2025. The 4-year-old single malt whisky matured in PX, oloroso and bourbon casks and was bottled in a limited edition at a cask strength of 54.5%.

From field to bottle, this single malt whisky is produced by the Danish organic distillery Thy. It is distilled from a regional and tasteful barley variety: Imperial Barley. It matured in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, and it is bottled at 56% ABV.
The Danish Thy Whisky Distillery is a traditional and organic farm distillery. The entire whisky-making process takes place on the farm. This results in, for example, this bourbon and PX and Oloroso-matured single malt whisky: sweet, rich and fruity (48%)
Perhaps not the first, but certainly one of the very few whiskies that is partly distilled from spelt. Rye, barley and spelt are the grains for this bottling from the Thy Whisky Distillery, grains from their own soil. Aged in American oak. (48.5%)
