Glen Garioch is one of those not-so-well-known single malts that nevertheless always manages to attract the attention of whisky connoisseurs. Thompson Bros. has released this 27-year-old bottling of the whisky, which matured in a fino sherry cask. (49.3%)
In 2026, the Glenallachie Distillery released this single-cask bottling of its single malt. The whisky matured for 12 years in a fino sherry cask, giving it notes such as spicy orange, white chocolate, salted caramel, mocha, cocoa, and pear. (61.4% ABV)
Campbeltown distillery Glengyle started in 2004 with the production of Kilkerran single malt whisky. In that same year, this batch was casked. A Fino sherry puncheon to be precise. In September 2019 it was bottled at cask strength (51.6%).
To celebrate its 15th anniversary, Glengyle Distillery released this Kilkerran Single Cask edition. The 15-year-old Campbeltown single malt whisky matured for the first ten years in a Fino sherry cask and then in a bourbon hogshead. (52.1% ABV)
