This rum-finished Smokehead isn't all about peat and smoke. The Islay single malt whisky bottled by Ian Macleod has depth and is complex. The rum finish provides fruity and vibrant notes. All in all a very drinkable and original combination. At 46%.

Smokehead Sherry Cask Blast - Ian Macleod

Fruity & Fierce, Spicy & Smooth' is how bottler Ian Macleod characterizes this Smokehead Blast. It is, as always, a peated Islay single malt whisky, but this one is finished in oloroso sherry casks. A full, creamy, complex, and quite smoky dram. (48%)

Speyside Finest 1975 Daily Dram

This Daily Dram bottling from 2016 scores over 91 points on the Whiskybase! It is a blend of Speyside single malt whiskies that matured for 40 years in a fino sherry cask. The whisky is praised for its fullness and harmonious complexity. (47.2%)

Speyside Malt 1977 Sansibar

Rumour has it that this single malt whisky, released by Sansibar in 2015, is a Macallan. In any case, it is a Speyside malt that went into the (sherry) cask in 1977 and was bottled 38 years later at 46.1%. It scores over 90 points on whiskybase.com.

Speyside Region 1975 The Whisky Agency

This TWA bottling scores no less than 92 points on the Whiskybase! It is also a unique dram: we do not know which Speyside single malt this is, but the whisky matured for 40 years (!) in a fino sherry cask (also quite exceptional). Bottled at 55.0%.

Speyside Region 1977 The Whisky Agency

Of all the Speyside malts, Glenfarclas is the one most often mentioned as possibly being in this Speyside region 1977 bottling from The Whisky Agency. In any case, it is a single malt whisky that matured for a whopping 38 years in a sherry cask. (46.8%)

Speyside Region Malt 1973 Sansibar

Here is another phenomenal bottling of a Speyside single malt whisky from the 1970s. After 43 years of sherry cask maturation, the unknown Speysider is a sherried fruit bomb with scores of 95 to no lower than 88 points! Bottled by Sansibar in 2017. 51.3%

Speyside Region Malt 1975 Sansibar

They are almost impossible to come by anymore, those bottlings of Speyside single malts with a vintage in the 70s, a maturation period of 40 years or more and scores of over 90 points. But here is one! A 42-year-old, fino sherry-matured dram. (49.8%)

Springbank 1996 Archives - 54.9%

This is an interesting Archives bottling, especially for fans of Springbank single malt whisky but also for whisky lovers in general. The Campbeltonian matured for 22 years in a bourbon hogshead and was bottled in 2018 at 54.9% cask strength.

Springbank 1999 - Private Bottling

Nine years ago, Springbank bottled this by them distilled 16-year-old single malt whisky for the Dutchmen Hans, Piet, René, Dave, Piet and Henk. And now one of those bottles with the bourbon matured classic Campbeltonian is in our shop! (57.7% ABV)

Springbank 21-year-old - 15/52

This 21-year-old Springbank single malt whisky is one of the core bottlings from the quirky Campbeltown distillery, but it's certainly no standard dram! It matured in both sherry and bourbon casks and was bottled in 2015. Don't miss out! (46%)

Springbank 21-year-old Single Cask for Hanseatische Weinhandelsgesellschaft

The Springbank Distillery still produces whisky from barley to bottling, which is why the single malt whisky is appreciated by many. In 2016, Springbank released this 21-year-old, very high-scoring, sherried single-cask bottling. It is bottled at 47.5%.

Springbank 32-year-old

This bottle is one of the first 500 bottles in the Whiskybase. This is also an exceptional bottle in other respects: it is a 32-year-old, sherried Springbank single malt whisky with a vintage year of 1971! And then it scores more than 91 points! (46%)

St. Magdalene 1982 Blackadder

In 2008, bottler Blackadder released in its Raw Cask series this 25-year-old St. Magdalene. The single malt whisky from the Lowland distillery, which closed in 1983, had matured for 25 years in a bourbon cask and was bottled at a cask strength of 61.8%!

Starward Left-Field

This Left-Field single malt whisky from Australian Starward is also made according to their own philosophy: focus on the taste and follow your intuition. And so this edition matured in a red wine cask of French oak. Tropical fruit, apple, berries. (40%)

Starward Nova

The Starward Distillery in Melbourne makes pleasantly drinkable, not too complex single malt whisky, whisky to share with friends or to mix in cocktails. This Nova is one of those. The young malt matured in various types of Australian red wine barrels.

Stokerij de Molenberg Esmeralda

Belgian Distillery De Molenberg, known for its Gouden Carolus whisky bottlings, released this Esmeralda in 2019 to celebrate its sixth anniversary. The single malt whisky matured in ex-bourbon and Madeira casks and was bottled at 46% ABV.

Strathearn Inaugural Bottling

Attention! The Inaugural Bottling of the young, artisanal Strathearn Distillery, owned by Douglas Laing. The small Highland distillery distils its whisky from an old type of barley malt with a lot of flavour. This Inaugural matured in 3 types of cask. 50%

Strathearn Single Malt - Batch 02

Established in 2013, the artisanal Strathearn Distillery distils its single malt whisky from an old barley variety that yields less alcohol but more flavour. This Batch No.02 matured in bourbon, sherry and virgin oak casks. You have to taste it! (50%)

Strathisla 1970 Gordon & MacPhail

Strathisla is one of those single malt whiskies that is not so well known, but is highly appreciated by whisky connoisseurs. And this is a very special Strathisla bottling: the whisky matured for about 44 years in a sherry cask! ( 43%, score 91.13)

Strathmill 2009 Gordon & MacPhail - Cask 802553

The Strathmill Distillery has virtually no bottlings of its own, so we rely on bottlers such as Gordon & MacPhail for their single malt whisky. In their Connoisseurs Choice series, they release this 14-year-old, bourbon-aged Strathmill. (55.3%)

Strathmill 2012 Signatory Vintage - 100 Proof

Speyside distillery Strathmill's single malt whisky isn't all that well known, but this bottling from Signatory, released in their affordable 100 Proof series, proves that wrong. The whisky matured for 12 years in a first-fill Oloroso cask. (57.1% ABV)

Stronachie 12-year-old A.D. Rattray

For about 40 years, until 1928, there was a Stronachie Distillery. A.D. Rattray wanted to recreate the taste of the single malt whisky based on a bottle from 1904. This new Stronachie, of which this bottle is one, was distilled by Benrinnes. (12y, 43%)
