Compass Box is best known for its special and quirky blends. Founded in 2000 by the American John Glaser, who found that too many companies made Scotch whisky and put it on the market in the same way, Compass Box looks for new production processes and flavour combinations.
The company has since released quite a few highly regarded blended whiskies and blended malts. The company also pays a lot of attention to the presentation of the bottlings, as can be seen below.
