Whiskybroker.co.uk from Creetown in Scotland not only delivers services such as buying and selling whisky casks, storage capacity, and supplying and filling bottles, but the company also bottles whisky under its own Whiskybroker label.
Almost 900 bottlings are in their name now, all of which are Scottish whiskies at cask strength. Some releases of Whiskybroker come in smaller, more affordable bottles (200 or 300ml). This bottler always uses reasonable prices, by the way.
The Aultmore Distillery is built about 130 years ago. As so many Speyside distilleries that mainly supply for the blends, Aultmore is not very well known. For those who want to taste their single malt whisky for a reasonable price, this Cree is an option!
Special at Glen Spey are the purifiers on the spirit stills. These provide a greater 'reflux', which results in a lighter, delicate single malt whisky. Taste it with this 12-year-old Cree bottling. Finished in a superior bourbon cask. (52% cask strength)
As a bottler, Whiskybroker has always strived for reasonable prices, and that still applies to bottlings under their new Cree brand. See, for example, this 14-year-old Glen Moray single malt whisky, matured in a bourbon barrel and bottled at 51.1%.
In a forgotten corner of Scotland is the warehouse with whisky casks where the Aultmore single malt whisky for this Cree bottling has been maturing. The Speyside malt rested there for 13 years in an ex-bourbon cask, a hogshead. (52.0% cask strength)
Whiskybroker's Cree bottlings have an excellent price/quality ratio. That also applies to this Fettercairn. The Highland single malt whisky is 14 years old and was bottled at cask strength (52.0%). It matured in an ex-bourbon hogshead.
