A legendary name in single malt whisky land, with a history dating back to 1819 that is closely linked to the Clynelish Distillery. Because you will rarely find a Brora single malt whisky for sale these days, and then at a sky-high price, we will let the history rest here. There is plenty to find on the internet. Producer Diageo has announced by the way that it will start producing Brora single malt again in 2020.
In 2007, beverage producer Diageo came up with this very Special Release: a 30-year-old single malt whisky from the legendary Brora brand (the distillery closed in 1983). 2958 bottles at cask strength (55.7%), matured in sherry and bourbon casks.
