The Bruges Whisky Company distillery was founded in Bruges in 2018, 2019 with the aim of offering good whisky at a good price. The young whisky enthusiasts who stood at the cradle of the distillery came up with two 'whisky lines': the Rogia single malt whisky (high-end premium, always small batch and cask strength), and the Ryggia malt (good and cheaper). The whisky matures and is finished in various types of casks (including cognac casks).
