Strength

Founded in the middle of Speyside in 1836, the Glenfarclas distillery is one of the few 'family' distilleries in Scotland. Glenfarclas is also a distillery that has been releasing distillery bottlings for a long time. And among these there are a number of bottles with a very high rating, such as the 55-year-old Glenfarclas 1958. The distillery is best known for its sherried single malt whiskies.

Glenfarclas 10-year-old

Also in terms of price this 10 year old Glenfarclas is a fine 'entry-level' single malt. Light, fruity 'Speyside' tones combined with malt, a hint of smoke and the sweetness of sherry make this whisky easy to drink. At 40%.

Glenfarclas 10-year-old The Flower of Scotland

We believe this is a bottle from a 1990s Glenfarclas bottling, released as A Force of Nature in the Flower of Scotland Collection and packaged in the unique tin that comes with that. The single malt whisky matured for 10 years and was bottled at 40%.

Glenfarclas 105 - 100 cl

Glenfarclas 1980 - The Family Casks 1414

Just because Glenfarclas is best known for its sherried single malt whisky doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with its bourbon cask aged malts! Take, for example, this 37-year-old Family Casks bottling from 2017, which scores very well! (44.5%)
