In 1997, members of a dairy cooperative in Tasmania's remote northwest founded the artisanal Hellyers Road Distillery. Its location on the Pacific Ocean ensures moderate temperatures year-round, conducive to stable whisky maturation.
At the end of the last century, the artisanal Hellyers Road Distillery was established in the remote Northwest of Tasmania. To date, the distillery has released over 100 bottlings, including this Aurora Australis (Southern Lights). Fruity and spicy. (40%)
This Double Cask from Australian distillery Hellyers Road was matured in American oak casks and French oak casks that previously held Tasmanian Pinot Noir wine. This resulted in a single malt whisky with a rich and varied flavour palette. (46.2%)
This Journeyman Edition from the Australian artisanal Hellyers Road Distillery first matured in bourbon and then in Tawny Port casks. It's a floral, fruity single malt whisky with notes of dark chocolate and honey. (46.2%)
