There had been a whisky distillery in northern Sweden for some time. In June 2018 this officially became the High Coast Distillery. The distillery is committed to perfecting every step of the process in single malt whisky production. In addition, the northern climate with its large temperature variation provides unique maturation conditions. High Coast Distillery is the northernmost distillery in the world.
