The name of the grain whisky distillery that was founded in 1960 in the northern Highlands, near Dalmore. The distillery not only creates spirit for grain whisky, but also pure alcohol. Of course, the vast majority of whisky production goes to the blends, but quite a few independent bottlings have been released so far, with an average good rating. Invergordon is one of the best-known grain whisky brands.
In 2011, Whiskybase.com launched the bottling brand Archives. To date, Archives has released over 230 bottlings that have scored high on average, with 87.5 points. In 2016, this 43-year-old Invergordon single grain whisky came out. (49.9%, 88.7 points)
The Keeble Cask Company, a whisky cask broker, bottles whisky under the Fragrant Drops brand for several years now. These are often special bottlings, such as this 50-year-old Invergordon single grain whisky, matured in an Oloroso quarter cask. (48.2%)
Since 2021, the Keeble Cask Company in Edinburgh has been active as a cask broker and bottler. In 2025, they released this 50-year-old Invergordon single grain whisky. The grain first matured in a refill and then in a first-fill bourbon cask. (46% ABV)
Invergordon is one of the best-known and well-appreciated single grain whiskies. So pay attention to this bottling from Berry Bros & Rudd. This Invergordon matured for 34 years in a bourbon cask, a barrel. Of course,e it is bottled at cask strength: 59.6%
The second Invergordon bottling from bottler Brachadair (‘Belgian roots…but Gaelic at heart’). This Invergordon single grain whisky is 33 years old. It matured all this time in a bourbon cask, a barrel. The grain was bottled in 193 bottles at 55.6%.
