Lowland distillery Killyloch was actually not a distillery in itself, with its own buildings and such. In 1965 producer Inver House Distillers placed 3 sets of 2 stills within the Moffat grain distillery complex. One set was for the production of Glen Fagler single malt whisky, one set was for the production of Garnheath grain whisky and the third set was for Killyloch whisky. This set produced a slightly peated single malt. But already about 1975 the production of Killyloch stopped. The Glen Fagler stills remained active until 1985. The pot stills were removed from the Moffat site in that same year.
