Knockdhu is the brand under which the single malt whisky from the Knockdhu Distillery was released during certain periods. Because the name Knockdhu can easily be confused with that of the Knockando Distillery, the Knockdhu Distillery used to use the brand name 'anCnoc' for its own whisky bottlings. Then again, independent bottlings have the distillery name Knockdhu on the label. Quite confusing ...
You don't often come across the single malt whisky from the Speyside distillery Knockdhu as an independent bottling. But here's one from bottler Chapter 7. The malt is 16 years old and it matured in a bourbon cask that produced 334 bottles at 51.5%.
