Founded in 2008, KOVAL is the first distillery in Chicago since a century and a half. The KOVAL Distillery opts for an environmentally friendly production process, from raw materials to bottling. The distillery makes various types of whiskey (= American spelling) such as bourbon and rye, but also whiskey from millet. All whiskeys are 'single barrel', therefore bottled per barrel. In addition to whiskey, KOVAL also produces Gin, liqueur, vodka and brandy.
