The Milk & Honey Whisky Distillery, based in Tel Aviv, Israel, started the first distillation round in 2014. In 2018 the first single malt whiskies have been released, and before that a number of experimental spirit bottlings. The Milk & Honey Whisky Distillery is set up by a number of whisky-enthusiast entrepreneurs who dreamed of an Israeli single malt.
In the APEX series, Tel Aviv's M&H Distillery releases this 3-year-old single malt whisky, aged in casks that previously held fortified red wine. The whisky is distilled from peated barley malt. An earthy dram with hints of peat smoke and tobacco. (55.3%)
This M&H single malt whisky matured for 4 years in white port casks. The influence of these ex-dessert wine casks is mainly found in the rich honey-like notes. This is the 4th edition in the Art & Craft - Dessert Wine Casks series, bottled at 53.6%.
A liquid Christmas cake, that's what this M&H single malt whisky is called, so it's a real Christmas Treat. It matured in bourbon and sherry casks, and in re-charred red wine casks. This resulted in a full, warm and sweet winter whisky. (49%)
