In May 2016, the stills of the new Spirit of Yorkshire, two large Forsyth pot stills and four copper column stills, were heated up for the first time in Yorkshire, England. Quite a few casks of different kinds have already been filled with the spirit from those stills.
The whole process of making Filey Bay whisky, from growing barley to cask aging, takes place right there on a farm on the Yorkshire coast.
