The Strathclyde Grain Distillery produced its first spirit in 1928. The company is located in Glasgow. The distillery has been expanded for some twenty years with a pot still for the production of single malt whisky (under the name Kinclaith). Since 1975, Strathclyde only produces grain whisky. Actually, no real distillery bottlings from Strathclyde are known. There are around 160 independent bottlings (status 2019).
The Strathclyde Distillery has produced only grain whisky since 1975, for the blending industry, and single grain bottlings actually only come from independent bottlers, such as Fragrant Drops. This grain matured for 31 years in a bourbon cask. (45.1%)
