The Wagging Finger Distillery in the Dutch town of Deventer has been active since 2016. They see themselves, with some humour, as a wagging finger that warns the large, industrial distilleries: 'Brace yourselves, the rebels are coming!'. In addition to jenever and gin, they also distil single malt whisky in an artisanal way. The first bottling of this appeared in 2025.
The Dutch artisanal Wagging Finger Distillery (active since 2016) produces jenever and gin, and in 2025 this their first edition of single malt whisky appeared. The malt matured in a cask that previously contained two Scotch whiskies. (5y, 50.1%)
