In 2014, Whiskybase bottler Archives released a 25-year-old Glen Spey single malt whisky. It’s not often you get the chance to taste this light, very pleasantly drinkable Speysider, especially not one of that age and at cask strength (47.3%)!
The Glen Spey distillery, which started in 1897, has been underexposed, as it actually only produces for the blending industry. So it is not due to the quality of its single malt whisky, as this TWA bottling proves! (26y, bourbon-matured, 49.8% ABV)

You don't come across a Glenallachie single malt whisky that has matured exclusively in an ex-bourbon cask every day. So, if you're curious about what that tastes like, this single is cask a good option. It is bottled at a cask strength of 60.9%.
This is the 8th edition in bottler Signatory Vintage's new, affordable Small Batch series. It is an 11 year old Glenallachie single malt whisky. The Speysider matured in Oloroso sherry casks and was bottled at the Small Batch standard of 48.2%.
