To celebrate the 260,000th unique whisky registered in the Whiskybase, we're releasing this 13-year-old Aultmore single malt whisky. At a festive price. This Speysider matured in a bourbon cask, reaching a robust 62.3% ABV.
Here's another special edition from Highland-distillery Deanston. They previously released 15-year-old bottlings that were finished in Marsala or Sauternes casks; here the single malt whisky was finished in Tequila casks. And that is quite special! 52.5%
The Duvel Moortgat Brewery is known for its beer, but sometimes, it also distils whisky. This Celebration Bottle was released in 2023. The 10-year-old, bourbon and sherry-aged, marsala-finished single malt whisky was bottled in this nice bottle at 40%.
Besides the sherry influences that permeate this Glendronach single malt, this whisky also bears the influence of the Marsala casks in which it was finished, all beautifully balanced. The Highlander matured for 18 years in European oak casks. (46% ABV)
This Kasei blended whisky is bottled by the Japanese Hombo Mars for the French La Maison du Whisky. Malt and grain whisky are brought together here in the smooth Mars style: floral, fruity notes and honey, with a hint of smoke. Bottled at 40%.
In 2018, the General Liu edition, part of the King of Qingshan series from Japan's Mars Shinshu Distillery, was released in a very limited edition on the Taiwanese market. It's a blend of malt and grain whisky. This bottle is quite unique now! (40% ABV)

Since 2017, there is a distillery on the small Scottish island of Raasay. They produce artisanal single malt whisky in relatively small batches. This 4-year-old Raasay single malt matured entirely in Marsala barriques and is bottled at 50.7% ABV.
Red Spot is the brand of a well-regarded single pot still whiskey from the Irish Midleton (1975-) distillery, known for its Green Spot whisky. This Red Spot bottling matured for 15 years in a combination of bourbon, sherry and Marsala casks. (46%)
