Taiwanese bottler Scout Drinks, started by KC Fan, as a long term project to showcase what he considers great whiskies. This Allt-á-Bhainne is one of them. The single malt whisky matured for a whopping 28 years in a bourbon cask. (58.8%).
Scout Drinks, a new Taiwanese bottler, hits the bullseye straight away with this 28-year-old Bowmore, matured in a bourbon hogshead. The bourbon cask ultimately yielded 76 bottles of the classic single malt whisky at a cask strength of 49.1%.
This Glen Garioch matured for 16 years in a bourbon cask before being one of their first four bottlings, produced by Scout Drinks. At 61.3% cask strength, this Highland single malt features notes of kiwi, grapefruit, orange, tangerine, and Cointreau.
With this Ledaig at a very robust 65.5% cask strength, the young Taiwanese bottler Scout Drinks (by KC Fan) is immediately making a splash. From Tobermory Distillery matured for 19 years in a bourbon cask, yielding 130 bottles. So, at 65.5% ABV.
