The tenth Small Batch edition of Signatory Vintage already. It is a 10-year-old Aberfeldy single malt whisky. The Aberfeldy malt is mainly found in Dewar's blended whisky, but here it matured in Oloroso sherry casks. The Highlander is bottled at 48.2%.
We don't see much Aberlour single malt whisky as an independent bottling anymore, but here is one, released in Signatory Vintage's very affordable Small Batch series. The 12-year-old malt matured in Oloroso sherry casks and was bottled at 48.2%.
This Caol Ila bottling from Signatory Vintage is nicely priced because it was released in the Small Batch series. The peated single malt whisky aged for 10 years in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks and is bottled at 48.2%, the standard for this series.
Inchgower is now over a century and a half old. Like many Speyside distilleries, they supply most of their whisky to the blending industry, but sometimes there are single malt bottlings, such as this very affordable 12-year-old, sherry-matured one. 48.2%
A new series from Signatory Vintage: the Small Batch Edition. And this is the number 1 in that series: an 11-year-old Mortlach single malt whisky, matured in both bourbon and 1st-fill Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 48.2%. For a great price!
