The Tobermory Distillery, one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, also produces peated single malt whisky. This Ledaig (the peated Tobermory) is finished in Rioja casks. (46.3%)
If you're looking for an everyday single malt whisky, one that never bores and is affordable, then this could be it: the Glengoyne 12, Unhurried Since 1833. New label and box style and, more importantly, matured in various types of cask. Bottled at 43%.
A fine example of what Glendronach is famous for: sherried whiskies. Let this 12-year-old 'breathe' for a few minutes, and then taste the nice balance between the spirit and the PX and oloroso casks on which it matured. For a reasonable price. At 43%.
The Isle of Arran Distillery nowadays also experiments with 'finishing', maturing its single malt whisky in the end in other types of casks. This malt is finished in Amarone casks and that adds notes of cherries, dark chocolate and Turkish delight. At 50%
A bottling from the Irish Midleton Distillery. A 12 year old single pot still whiskey, so made from malted and unmalted barley, and triple distilled. This Redbreast matured in bourbon and sherry casks. A fine Irish whiskey for a nice price. At 40%.
Compass Box calls this bottling 'our majestic king'. Matured in sherry and red wine casks, the whisky got a crimson colour. King Crimson. In addition to the colour, the casks also gave the blend intense notes of chocolate, plum jam and red currant. (46%)
This is the 2nd edition of the single malt whisky from Wagging Finger distillery in Deventer. While the 1st edition matured in two ex-Scotch whisky casks, this new, 4-year-old edition matured in an ex-Glenglassaugh and a bourbon cask. (232 bottles, 50.3%)

In the single malt core series from Glenallachie, which previously produced almost exclusively for blended whisky, this 18-year-old has matured in sherry casks and finished in virgin oak. A very drinkable standard bottling at 46%.
