Millstone 1996 Oloroso Sherry

This is a very special Millstone bottling: although Zuidam Distillers released its first Dutch Single Malt Whisky in 2007, the spirit for this edition went already in 1996 in the (Oloroso) cask! The whisky matured there for 19 years. (300 bottles, 49.4%)

Millstone 1998 - Pedro Ximénez - Special No. 2

Dit is een fles uit de tweede Special van Zuidam's Millstone single malt-whisky. Bij die Specials gaat het om enkelvatsbottelingen, en in dit geval was dat een PX-sherryvat waar de whisky 19 jaar lang op rijpte. Deze Special kwam uit in 2018 op 46% ABV.

Millstone 2009 Lightly Peated

Zuidam Distillers released its first Dutch Single Malt Whisky in 2007. Dozens of bottlings later, in 2015, there was this 5-year-old Millstone Lightly Peated. As the name suggests, this is a lightly peated single malt. Bottled at 40%.

Millstone American Oak

The Dutch Zuidam Distillers not only makes genever, liqueurs and gin, but also whisky. This is one of their single malt whiskies: the Millstone American Oak, made with both brewer's and distiller's yeast and matured in virgin American oak. (43%)

Millstone Peated American Oak

The Zuidam Distillery produces various types of whisky, including single malt whisky. This can be unpeated malt or malt that has been distilled from peated barley malt. This is one of them. The malt matured in casks of virgin American oak. (43%)

Miltonduff 10-year-old Gordon & MacPhail

A successful example of a 'modern' sherryed single malt whisky, this 10-year-old Macduff from Gordon & MacPhail. Aroma and taste are uncomplicated, with clearly recognizable sherry tones. A pleasantly drinkable dram for an evening with friends!

Miltonduff 11-year-old Decadent Drinks

This is the winter edition 2023 from the Equinox & Solstice series by Decadent Drinks. An 11-year-old Miltonduff single malt whisky that matured in a sherry cask. A comfortably warm dram, 'a wealth of warmth, ruddy fruits...', as the label says. (48.5%)

Miltonduff 15-year-old Cadenhead's

Cadenhead has had experience bottling whisky since 1850. Distillery Miltonduff has been distilling whisky since 1824, so this bottling is based on a total whisky experience of 375 years! A nice 15-year-old, bourbon-aged single malt for a nice price. (46%)

This is the first Miltonduff under the Archives label and it's a stunner.
Imagine crisp tea, honey drizzled ripe apricots, magnolia blossoms, pastéis de nata and the taste of chocolate-dipped honeycomb.

Miltonduff 2002

The Distillery Reserve Collection is a series of bottlings of special whiskies from Chivas Brothers distilleries, all at cask strength. This bottle is from a 2018 edition: a 16-year-old, bourbon-matured Miltonduff single malt whisky. (56.6%)

Miltonduff 2008 Acorn

A joint bottling between bottler Acorn and ARen Trading, this Miltonduff single malt whisky. Speyside distillery Miltonduff exists nearly a century and its whisky often appears as an independent bottling. Like this 12 year old, 62.6% (!) strong edition.

Miltonduff 2012 Ultimate

Most of the single malt whisky that the Miltonduff distillery makes goes to the blend industry, especially Ballantine's. But next to occasional releases from the distillery itself, third-party bottlings are regularly released. Like this 10-year-old. (46%)

Miltonduff 2015 Signatory Vintage - 100 Proof

For a great price/quality ratio, you can definitely go to the 100 Proof series from Signatory Vintage. This is edition 24 in that series. It is an 8-year-old Miltonduff single malt whisky that matured in first-fill bourbon casks. It is bottled at 57.1%.

Miyagikyo Aromatic Yeast

The Miyagikyo distillery of the Japanese Nikka not only makes grain whisky, but also single malt. Such as this ageless bottling, for which a special, aromatic yeast was used during production. Not complex, nutty, fruity and sweet and well-balanced. (47%)

Miyagikyo Single Malt

Not very complex, but a broad and elegant taste palette. Some call this single malt whisky from the Japanese Miyagikyo distillery a 'summer whisky'. Subtle notes of fruit, sherry, wood and grain and a hint of smoke: a pleasantly drinkable dram.

Mortlach 1989 Gordon & MacPhail

Mortlach distils their spirit not two or three times, but 2.81 times, which gives the single malt whisky a profile of its own. Gordon & MacPhail is known as a very good bottler. When added together, this guarantees a fine dram. 24 years old and at 46%.

Mortlach 2014 Signatory Vintage

Signatory Vintage's Small Batch series is known for its good bottlings at a good price. This is edition no. 15: a 10-year-old Mortlach single malt whisky finished in first-fill PX casks. A creamy, nicely sherried and well-balanced dram. (48.2%)

Nc'nean 2018 Huntress - Woodland Candy

A special edition from the young, sustainable Nc'nean Distillery. The single malt whisky was aged for 35% in bourbon and for 65% in re-charred red wine casks, delivering a buttery and creamy taste, with notes of sweet fruit, caramel and toffee. (48,5%)

Nikka Coffey Malt Whisky

That Coffey in the name refers to the type of still with which this whisky was made. Normally single malt whisky is made with pot stills. That makes this Japanese Nikka malt whisky quite special. This whisky received various prizes and awards. 45%

North of Ireland 1991 The Whisky Agency x ACLA

This Irish single malt whisky was bottled in 2015 by The Whisky Agency, after a maturation of 24 years in a bourbon cask. The whisky was bottled at 51.8% cask strength. It is a peated tropical fruit bomb that scores almost 91 points on Whiskybase!

North Port 1981 Brechin Signatory Vintage

Rare! Almost forgotten! Very tasty! To celebrate their 30th birthday, Signatory Vintage released this special bottling: a 36-year-old sherry cask matured North Port / Brechin single malt whisky. At cask strength of course. A collector's item.

Oban 14-year-old

Oban is one of Scotland's oldest, still active distilleries. This 14-year-old standard malt shows the basic character of Oban well: juicy orange, malt, salty and a hint of smoke, oily in the mouth. And that for a reasonable price.

Oban Little Bay

A not very complex, flexible young single malt whisky, this Oban Little Bay. He is reminiscent of Oban's 14-year standard bottling, but is sweeter and more malty. A great dram for everyday life, or for an evening with friends. Nothing wrong with it.
