Single malt whisky is a mixture of malt whisky from casks of the same distillery. Malt whisky is made from barley malt and distilled in pot stills, and has matured for at least 3 years in oak barrels. This whisky usually has a for the distillery characteristic flavor. In 2007, bottler Speciality Drinks (now Elixir Distillers) released this Aultmore single malt whisky. The Speysider matured for 15 years in three bourbon casks before being bottled in 810 bottles at 46% ABV. A fresh, dry and intensely malty dram.

This Balmenach single malt whisky matured for 14 years in a first-fill sherry cask from quality bottler Gordon & MacPhail. It was bottled from that cask in 2024 at a remarkably strong 61.9%. A rich dram with notes of cocoa, coffee, chocolate and aniseed.
