In Cadenhead's bottling series Enigma, the distillery remains unnamed. This release, by the way, is the single malt from a Highland distillery known for its tall stills. In any case, at 40 years old, this dram is certainly special! (44.5% cask strength)
Some have suggested it could be Ben Nevis, others mention Ardmore, but whichever Highland distillery this single malt whisky is from, it's certainly worth a look! The malt has been matured for 18 years in a refill bourbon cask and is bottled at 54.0% ABV.
This Highland Park bottling was released in Limited Whisky's Exceptional Cask Collection, and yes, it is certainly exceptional! The Orkney single malt matured for an impressive 33 years in a select bourbon cask, from which it was bottled at 49.1% ABV.
In 1998, Speyside Distillery Imperial closed its doors for good. Bottlings of the single malt whisky are now scarce. But here's one! In Limited Whisky's Exceptional Cask Collection. Bottled after 33 years of bourbon cask maturation. (51.3% ABV)

This is a single grain whisky from the versatile Loch Lomond distillery. The grain matured for 28 years in two ex-bourbon casks filled with the same spirit on the same day, before Uncharted Whisky bottled it in April 2025 at 48% as Caledonian Dreaming.
The Enigma bottlings from Cadenhead, as the name suggests, do not mention the distillery. With this edition, we have to make do with the knowledge that it is an 11-year-old, oloroso-matured Lowland single malt whisky at 57.5% ABV. For a nice price!

The Miyagikyo distillery of the Japanese Nikka not only makes grain whisky, but also single malt. Such as this ageless bottling, for which a special, aromatic yeast was used during production. Not complex, nutty, fruity and sweet and well-balanced. (47%)
